Care

Hand wash with mild soap and a soft sponge; avoid abrasive scrubbers on the inside.
Cook on low to medium heat to protect the tin (kalai) lining.
Dry immediately after washing and store in a dry place.
Polish the outside occasionally with Pitambari. The kalai lining can be re-done by a traditional craftsman when it wears.

Handmade pieces: small variations in size, weight and finish are natural.
